Travel Agent / Tour Operator Sales Executive

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Hybrid - Minimum 3 days per week in our Hereford office (following 3 month full time initial probation)

Schedule: Predomantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work

Experience: Minimum 2 years travel sales experiences within the past 5 years


Role Overview:  We are seeking an experienced Travel Agent / Tour Operator Sales Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for travel and a proven track record in sales. You will be responsible for actively selling and packaging long-haul multi-centre holidays to direct customers and supporting our agent network in creating bespoke travel packages. There will be at times evening and weekend work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively sell and package long haul multi-centre holidays to direct customers.
  • Support our existing agent network by creating tailored travel packages for their clients.
  • Utilise flight consolidators, bed banks and (DMCs) and full range of direct suppliers for self-packaging.
  • Maintain high sales figures and achieve targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Confidently present in front of groups and participate in promotional video content.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows and events to promote the brand and generate leads.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with a strong sales record.
  • Proficient in using CRM and reservation systems.
  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive personal travel experience.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and being recorded for promotional content.

  • Rail and/or cruise holidays
