Flying Time from the UK:

Given that the majority of prominent Canadian ski resorts are situated in western Canada, direct flights from London Heathrow to Calgary or Vancouver usually range between 8-10 hours. Opting for destinations further east can result in shorter flight times, approximately 7 hours to Montreal. Keep in mind the extra travel needed to reach the resorts; nevertheless, Canada offers fantastic city layovers in Vancouver or Montreal, allowing you to experience the local life and perhaps catch an Ice-Hockey game during your visit!

Best Time of the Year to Visit

The official snow season in Canada runs from November to May. However, we advise against visiting at the start or end of the season because of the unpredictable snow conditions, despite the typically lower prices. We believe that the best time for optimal snow quality is from February to mid-March. If you're looking to mix a ski trip with some cultural exploration, any time during the winter is perfect for travel.
